barbie jeep : Project Snowball is still in progress. We are still in the "parts roundup"phase.I got my TH400 rebuilt and its sitting in the shop awaiting installation.Various adapters and such are also at the shop in my parts pile. I orderedthe TeraLow gear set for my D20, and they haven't come in yet (1 more weekon the backorder). The deluxe tilt steering column with auto shifter andlinkage should have arrived this week (gotta go check during lunch today).They are having trouble finding a source for a 4-core radiator, I've got todo some surfing and give them some sources. We'll have the driveshaftsfabbed when we measure the final lengths and make sure everything else fits.The off-road shop doing the work estimated 2 weeks before they will haveroom to take Snowball in and start assembling her. They have a garagejam-packed with little jobs right now.I updated the website this past weekend. I'm going to try to get pics anddetails as the project snowballs er... progresses.I can't remember if I already passed this on, but Mepco @ (800) 388-5337 isa good source for new 4-core radiators.

Heck, I'm almost gettingexcited ...Thanks!! :-) I'm hyped about it too, can't wait to romp that big auto andsee what it will do.The steering column was hard to find, I hope its all its been made out to beThe off-road shop guys talked to the local radiator shop, and they said theycould take my old radiator frame and completely re-core it with 4 cores andthe auto cooling assembly. They claim that's better than getting a newradiator. :-/ Not sure if I believe that, BUT they are passing up anopportunity to sell me a 4-core???Hope its before snowfall cause we get one of those about every 3 years here,LOL. They say once all the parts get here, it should take them 2-3 weeks +the unknown problem factor to assemble it. Right now they're putting adifferent auto tranny into a 1973? CJ5, so they're learning on HIS Jeep, notmine. They should be a well-oiled machine by the time they're ready for meand the Snowball (I hope). :-)
