chrysler financial com : Well Steve and all the rest of you. I thought this was a place wheremaybe an employee who had some connection with Chrysler customerservice would be or at least lurking. Evidently not. Just a bunch ofguys that sell stuff to them. Steve, if you think you can find thenumber, then find it for me. I have looked everywhere. It doesn'texist IS my WHOLE point. I have looked in all the places you suggestedbefore I came on here. The bogus number that red gave was just that.Bogus. Thanks guys. Chivalry is surely dead.Well Punch. THanks, That is the number for Canada but there is anumber for USA for Chysler at 1-800-992-1997. The only problem is thenumber I need is for Chysler Financial. There are alot of numbers toeach regional office for Chysler Financial listed at the same page yougot this one, the only problem is when you call them they all rerouteyou back to the office of customer service in Dallas for me(which isback to square one) or to a main Canada number that accepts theoverload of calls and then when you explain they will send you back toDallas. Even the Federal Trade Commission had a wrong number for them.So can you begin to see my problem. Anyone with a phone number tosomeone with jurisdiction over the Dallas office it would sure benice. Bye, bye! Sandy

I finally got fed up with Chryslers constant BS about what they were and were not going to do, so I took them to small claims court.I had asked for $5k, (the paint, reimb. of high tech warranty and fix my power door locks), the judge awarded me $2,000. I will not be able to get everything 100% paid for and I bet Chrysler appeals, but its better than a kick in the ......The Chrysler rep offered anything I wanted if I purchased a new auto from them! I told them why would I want to purchase another auto, this problem should have been handled four years ago when the paint started being a problemI am still up for a class action. Come on some attorney/Chrysler owner.....we need to hit them in their bank accounts!Brian Reed posted the following article in the Van Forum Dated : October 25, 1997 at 08:16:05Subject: Re: Small Claims Win 89 voyager Same problem!

A number of Jeep owners herein New Yourk City and Long Island sued Chrysler in Small Claims Court but the judge ruled in favor of Chrysler citing NY state's commercial code statue of limitations of 4 years. We all presented excellent arguments and even the judge admitted that evidence supported the existence of a latent defect in productpaint finish process. My cousin owns the 1990 Jeep Cherokee...Q: When and where did you sue Chrysler?Did Chrysler's attorney cite the statue of limitattions? On what grounds did you sue...breach of product warranty? Fraud? Please respond.April posted the following article in the Van Forum Dated : November 12, 1997 at 01:30:49Subject: Re: Small Claims Win Vicki,Way to go!!I've already got my court papers. And my case should be scheduled for December. What state doyou live in? Also if you have any info that would helpmy case,Could you please send me it.ThanksJames Jacobs posted the following article in the Van Forum Dated : January 27, 1998 at 16:31:09Subject: Re: Small Claims Win I'm thinking about taking my case to small claims court and wanted to get some recommendations from anyone who has gone through the experience. I leased a Chrysler Jeep on 10/10/97 from Jeep Eagle 17 in Paramus NJ. They delivered the vehicle that day and supplied me with the contract. I gave them over $6,000 that day. A week later, they call me up and say that I have to pay $34 more per month or return the vehicle because they made a mistake in calculating the residual value. To make a long story short, they finall agreed to the original payment price on 12/18. I at that time agreed to a small revise of including my state use tax in the payment. Anyway, on the day of the 2nd contract signign, they asked me for my 12/10 lease payment and promised to forward it on to Chrysler Financial. It's now a month later and Chrysler Financial has no record of the payment. The check was cashed by the dealership (it had notation on it that it was for the Chrysler Financial 12/10 pay!ment.). Well now the payment has never been posted to my lease account. I've called the dealership several times, they claim they sent it on to Chrysler Financial but furnish no proof of this. I've called Chrysler Financial's Tarrytown, NY office and faxed them the details. Absolutely nobody I talked to can help in this matter. I've explained that Chrysler Financial has the dealershp act as its agent (by processing applications) and that an agent's acceptance of monies intended for Chrysler Financial involves some legal obligation to see the monies are applied where they are claimed to. Again, nobody at Chrysler Financial will help. I even asked the Manager of Collections, a Lou Cafiero for the number to Chrysler Financial's corporate offices. He claimed he didn't know what it was and that it was somewhere in Michigan. I called information and was put in touch with a human resources person at Chrysler Financial. Again, no response. Now I'm out over $300 because the! dealership will not forward the money to Chrysler Financial and because Chrysler Financial will do nothing to enforce the dealership to forward the monies. Any ideas?

chrysler financial com : This is like going into McDonalds and paying for a "happy meal" and walkingaway and then marching into Burger King and demanding that they credit youfor purchasing a McDonald's happy meal.Unfortunately, it appears that have temporarily learned a $300.00 pluslesson. Small claims court is an option but, I wouldn't recommend it unlessyou can PROVE why you gave your selling dealership the check. It does notwork in your favor that you made concessions when signing a second contract. In small claims court you have the burden of proving "beyond a preponderanceof the evidence" that you were defrauded or misled. No proof will mean thatyour case will be almost impossible to win.James Jacobs wrote in message some recommendations from anyone who has gone through the experience. chrysler financial com : I would like to know if there is a upgrade chip of the computer without removed computer Maybe you should read this, you might change your mind about wasting yourmoney on these "chips"."Bulcks" wrote in message...I would like to know if there is a upgrade chip of the computer withoutremoved computeror any upgrade availableI would like to know if there is a upgrade chip of the computer without removed computer trade it in at my dealer for a new 2003 2.4 turbo with auto stick we had3 yesterdayI am glad your dealer is doing something with the Turbos. My local dealer (bought my '02 from then last November) is only offering $14K for mine in trade against sticker on the '03 Turbo. It has 13K miles and the 10 year bumper to bumper service contract "warranty upgrade". They aren't even sure of what the interest rate would be through Chrysler financial... I had honestly hoped I could trade for the '03 Turbo on the basis of equity in the '02 and $5K cash (to allow me to carry the same numbers as the original purchase through Chrysler financial), but they were looking for $10K cash in addition to my '02 to be able to make a sale. I told them to call back when they got all the remaining '02s off the lot and were ready to start selling the '03 models. Even if I decided to cash in the unused time (9 years and 3 months) on the 10 year service contract, give up the sunroof, get cloth seats and manual transmission (not available yet), it still would cost me around $8500.00 in cash plus my '02 to trade into the '03 Turbo and maintain the same numbers in the Chrysler financial contract. (Think about it; this is nearly a 50% on what the '02 base model cost, against a base model Turbo with a sticker of $22,290.00) Imagine how you would feel if you spent $20,000 cash on an '02, drove it for 9 months, and got an offer for $14,000.00 trade in while in the same model year. This is close to a 33% depreciation, and not even a full year's use. When I look at from the financing aspects, I would loose around $1000.00 per month of ownership if I were to trade on those terms. I suspect that other PT Cruiser owners would be slightly upset if they are getting treated this way across the country. If this is the norm, it doesn't speak very well for the trade-in value of the Cruiser. Also if this is the norm for trade-in value, there isn't much incentive to buy the next year model, which weighs in at $5000.00 across the board additional in the Turbo package; especially if the future current year trade in value is projected by these numbers to be around $17,500 (This based on the $26,600 delivered cost of a Turbo with features equivalent to the current Limited Edition).
