jeep lift kits : This message has probably been asked a million times but as a "newbie" ihave not read the answer beforeI have a 93 YJ which I would like to put 32" or 33" inch tyres on, What sizelift would anybody out there recommend for this vehicle? Do you need a newtail shaft for a superlift 4" lift? Has anyone have any opinion about theride quality and flexability of various lift kits.I use my Jeep as a daily driver (160 KM's a day) so I would prefer the ridenot to suffer to much but I guy's gotta do what a guy's gotta do.My Jeep has gotta be one of the most reliable machines around, 195,000 KMand never been in the shop for any major work although the door locks duringthe winter months tend to keep scerwing up, sometimes it is impossible toget in but I have heard the same story from other jeep drivers.PS what has happened to JP Magazine, I have not seen an issue for 4 monthsand I have not recieved any response from them from the e-mails I have sent.I am looking for a 3-4" lift kit for my '98 TJ.Anybody out there with someinsights. It would sure help me out, since this is my first 4X4. I went outto the state jamboree here in AZ and hit the tank a few times.

Nothing else comes close....it includes everything but thetires.-- 97 TJ Sport, RE 4.5, 2" body lift, 35" Boggers, D44/D60On this NG, people talk the most about the Tera and Rubicon Express lifts.The Tera is 3" while RE has a 3" and 4.5"I personally have the RE 3" lift. The actual amount of lift I got is about4", despite it being billed as a 3" kit. I am extremely happy with it.You might hear a lot of people bragging about the lift they got or raggingon the one they didn't. I know people who like their Tera and I knowpeople who like their RE -- you could be happy with either. I will say,however, that if you want to go higher in the future, the RE 3" kit iseasily upgraded to 4.5"Even if you had the Tera kit, why couldn't you just as easily upgrade that? RE sells the longer springs, so I imagine you could just buy the springs and throw em in.I know of a couple people that have bought RE controlarms, trackbar, etc... alongside the tera kit. I have a good friend (MikeCrider)that is VERY disatisfied with his ProComp 4" kit. He has brokenseveral of the tiny heim joints they use to brace the track bar (therelocation bracket itself being a stupid design). His kit will rampokay, but when it does, the frame and axle brackets flex ALOT. He hadto repair a cracked weld on one frame bracket. If you don't plan to doalot of offroading, ProComp is okay, but otherwise, stay away from the4" kit.
